YogaKids of Oak Park, IL (since 2001)
offers all children ways to balance their
energy and emotions. Students from 3 to
15 learn proven stress relieving
techniques as well as gain fitness, fun,
and educational benefits. Each YogaKids
class is tailored to how children learn and
play, integrating traditional yoga
techniques with language arts, games,
music and storytelling. Since yoga is a
non-competitive activity, self-esteem is
naturally fostered; every child is
challenged and successful. This Parents
Choice Award winning program employs
ecology, anatomy, earth care and life
lessons that echo the yogic principles of
fun, focus and flexibility!

The students in the Oak Park Yoga 4:40 class, spring 2010, hand-sewed cloth dolls for a children's hospice in Zambia. The dolls were delivered with a copy of our children's photo attached. Remember Margaret Mead's word, " Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world. Indeed, it its the only thing that ever has."
